Test Collab offers easy integration as issue managers with popular bug trackers like JIRA, Redmine and many more.
An important feature of this integration is automatic reporting of bugs in issue manager whenever a test case fails during the execution in Test Collab and the tester opts to get it reported as bug.
The configuration of issue manager is a two step process including global as well as project specific issue manager setting. There can be situations when both the settings are properly done and tested, but the issues do not get reported into the issue manager automatically. For this the first thing that needs to be checked is whether schedules background task (or cronjob) has been configured properly on the server, also make sure that there is no error when the task is running.
Moreover, depending on the frequency set for the background task (or cronjob) the reporting of defects can take some time.
